Frontier cutbacks result in poor service in MN

Frontier cutbacks are resulting in poor service in Minnesota. Following more than 400 consumer complaints, the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (PUC) held five public hearings in September.

At one of those hearings -- Frontier customers and CWA members spoke out against poor phone service, slow Internet, and customer service delays. One CWA-represented Frontier technician said his company does not provide him the resources to be successful, resulting in poor service quality and repeat issues for customers. Over the past five years, Frontier reduced its workforce in the area, compounding service quality issues.

The MN Department of Commerce will issue a ruling on whether further action or investigation is needed.
