Commissioner Rosenworcel’s latest podcast celebrates the work of 911 operators
This week is the National Public Safety Telecommunications Week. Commissioner Rosenworcel celebrated the work of 911 operators and public safety telecommunicators by featuring Congresswoman Norma Torres, the only 911 operator serving in Congress, in the latest episode of her podcast, Broadband Conversations. Congresswoman Norma Torres “shares how one 911 call led her to activism and what Washington can do to give 911 operators the tools and respect they deserve to better serve their communities.”
CWA represents many 911 operators who daily serve as the community lifeline in times of emergency.
