CWA kicks off the summer of #NoMoreOffshoring!
CWA members launch "The Summer of #NoMoreOffshoring," a program to fight back against job instability, corporate tax loopholes, and the trade deals that harm working people. CWA members' efforts will focus on the recently introduced US Call Center Worker and Consumer Protection Act (HR 3219 and S 1792) to protect call center jobs and the No Tax Breaks for Outsourcing (HR1711 and S780) legislation.
The summer of #NoMoreOffshoring! attempts to take action to fix the new version of NAFTA, the United States–Mexico–Canada Agreement (USMCA). Watch our first video focusing on protecting call center jobs from offshoring here:
