It?s official, Comcast and TW are America?s least wanted
The suspense is over and Comcast and Time Warner are now certified as America’s most hated companies. The confirmation – if any were needed – was provided last week by
The American Customer Satisfaction Index. This quarterly compilation, considered the country’s most comprehensive customer satisfaction survey, is issued by the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
In its press release, ACSI said, “Cable giants Comcast and Time Warner Cable have the most dissatisfied customers. Comcast falls 5% to 60, while Time Warner registers the biggest loss and plunges 7% to 56, its lowest score to date.”
At the same time, ACSI noted that fiber carriers, and some smaller cable companies, led the top of the bundled telecom services. “At an ACSI score of 71,” said the survey, “Verizon’s FiOS Internet service continues to lead the category.”
