The National Grange Joins Support of AT&T/T-Mobile
In a filing to the FCC, the National Grange, the nation's oldest national agricultural organization, added its name to a growing list of organization supporting the merger of AT&T and T-Mobile.
According to Ed Luttrell, President of the National Grange:
"Expanding the latest advancements in wireless broadband offerings to rural America is a key goal for the National Grange, plain and simple. The merger between AT&T and T-Mobile will allow for the deployment of a more robust national network, which will serve more communities, and thus more individuals and businesses in hard-to-reach areas."
Environmental, technology, and labor organizations are supporting the merger, which would increase broadband buildout across the country, and support fair labor practices for the company's workers.
