Number of FCC net neutrality comments moves into pop-star territory
Although people may differ widely on the definition, the access, the public rights and the significance of net neutrality, it’s apparent that a huge number of Americans think it’s important.
With more than a million comments logged into the FCC, the issue – as several news sites have pointed out – lags barely behind Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction, which provoked 1.4 million comments to the FCC.
According to the Daily Dot, “That figure includes both comments submitted through the FCC's website, as well comments sent via email, according to the FCC.”
Pop-star comparisons aside, it’s apparent that the issue will continue to be debated, and the subject of the mainstream news.
