Speed Matters proud to sponsor Netroots Nation
Tomorrow, progressive online activists will invade Pittsburgh, PA for the fourth annual Netroots Nation conference. Netroots Nation is a four-day event that brings together thousands of bloggers, politicos and online enthusiasts of all kinds to learn from each others' expertise. Speed Matters is proud to sponsor this creative and collaborative gathering of progressive voices.
The conference will feature panels led by national and international experts, a progressive film screening series, practical training sessions and workshops, and the most concentrated gathering of progressive bloggers to date. We're excited to see a slate of discussions focused on issues related to broadband, Internet policy and expanded access to online resources.
Speed Matters is leading the fight to expand high-speed Internet across America. Together with President Obama and his administration, we have made significant progress, from the recent victory of extensive broadband funding in the stimulus package to the FCC's new task of developing a comprehensive broadband policy for the U.S.
We are proud to join our friends at Netroots Nation this weekend, to celebrate, learn and discuss what we know about harnessing the power of the netroots to make real political change.
