Speed Matters honored by two organizations
Thank you to all of our readers, supporters, activists, and union brothers and sisters -- your hard work, support and encouragement has allowed Speed Matters to become a success, and to be recognized by two prestigious organizations for SpeedMatters.org.
SpeedMatters.org has been named as a finalist for "Best Website – Issue Advocacy Campaign" Golden Dot Award by The Institute for Policy, Democracy & the Internet.
"This year was a great success for the Golden Dot Awards as we democratized both the nominating and voting process, bringing it to the public via the Internet," the IPDI said. "There were over 100 nominations and saw 4,000 votes in only a 5 business day-long time period."
Speed Matters also received two Pollie Awards -- one for "Best Use of Search Engine Marketing" and another for "Best Landing Page." The Pollie Awards are distributed annually by the American Association of Political Consultants.
It's an honor to be recognized, and it's a privilege to be working with and on the behalf of people who are dedicated to making universal high speed Internet a reality. Thanks again!
