US 5G download speed remains slower than Wi-Fi
The United States remains the only one of the top eight 5G countries with slower 5G download speeds than Wi-Fi, according to an analysis by OpenSignal. The average 5G speed in the US was 52.3 Mbps compared to 59.8 Mbps for Wi-Fi. South Korea, which has the fastest Wi-Fi download speeds at 74.5 Mbps has an ever more impressive 5G speed of 224 Mbps.
