Florida getting AT&T U-Verse with GigaPower
AT&T is serious about fighting for TV subscribers in areas now dominated by cable monopolies. This week it announced that it’s bringing U-Verse with GigaPower to Florida, and will be offering the 1 Gbps service to residential and business customers in parts of Miami.
According to Bloomberg BNA, AT&T said that it’s “deploying additional fiber and electronics to the existing network in Miami to meet the growing demand for ultra-fast broadband.”
AT&T earlier announced its plans to go head-to-head with Comcast in Houston and Nashville, and is now moving the battle to Miami.
