Frontier Communications ups its FiOS speeds
Frontier Communications is now offering customers 150 Mbps, upload and download in parts of Washington state. The high-speed service runs on an all-fiber network that Frontier purchased from Verizon in 2010.
Frontier is now seeking regulatory approval for another Verizon transaction. Last February, Frontier announced its purchase of 3.7 million lines from Verizon in California, Florida and Texas. A full 54 percent of those lines are all-fiber.
