Governor Patrick Reiterates His Commitment to High Speed Internet Accessibility

Newly elected Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick is part of a growing list of Governors who recognize the importance of expanding high speed internet access. During a call-in show on Boston’s NPR affiliate WBUR, he reiterated his commitment to expanding high speed internet access to the commonwealth. We've posted the audio here:

I do see high speed internet and access to that form of connectivity being very critical to our economic development as well as our educational opportunities and I am committed to delivering that kind of connectivity commonwealth wide. It is very interesting ... even in the Boston area there isn’t universal access to high speed internet services.
