I am an engineer for the local telephone service provider. I designed the DSL system installed in the local CO. I cannot get the service. Instead, I deal with dial-up, connecting at about 40kbs. Browsing the internet is like watching the grass grow.
Communications workers should be able to reap the benefits of the systems they create. Stories like these are inexcusable.
