CWA supports Reps. Waxman & Eshoo's call for hearings on Verizon/Cable Spectrum deal
In a letter to Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Upton (R-MI), Representatives Waxman and Eshoo asked for hearings on the proposed Verizon/Cable Spectrum deal, citing questions about implications for competition in the wireless industry.
CWA "applauds Rep. Henry Waxman and Rep. Anna Eshoo for their leadership in protecting consumers and promoting healthy competition in the telecom industry."
Waxman and Eshoo wrote, "It is important that the Energy and Commerce Committee examine the policy implications of these deals carefully."
