Broadband & Social Justice Policy Summit to Address the Digital Divide

The Minority Media and Telecommunications Council (MMTC) — a Speed Matters partner — will be hosting its second annual Broadband and Social Justice Policy Summit on January 20th and 21st in Washington, DC. The summit will convene leaders, researchers, and policy makers in the fields of broadband policy and adoption, telecommunications, and social justice around the theme of "Bridging the Digital Divide."

With a slate of influential leaders, the summit hopes to discuss issues of broadband and telecom inequities and begin to take steps toward policy implementation on these matters. Check out the full schedule of events and workshops, and take a look at the confirmed speakers:
