Online series highlights real-life benefits of public broadband access
Speed Matters partner One Economy recently teamed up with award-winning actor, director and producer Robert Townsend to create Diary of a Single Mom, an online series that demonstrates the real-life benefits of broadband access.
The series chronicles the struggles of three single moms facing the everyday challenges of raising children, pursuing an education, and working full-time. The show highlights how public broadband access can be a valuable source to those who need it most.
The series is available on the Public Internet Channel at no cost.
One Economy stresses that “for broadband to reach its potential to improve lives-and stimulate our economy-it must be available, affordable and adopted.”
We need your help to make this a reality. Tell your friends and family members to join the movement for universal high speed Internet today.
