Out of bankruptcy review, Frontier raises “Internet Infrastructure Surcharge” from $4 to $7
Frontier raised its “Internet Infrastructure Surcharge” on customers’ bills from $3.99 to $6.99 a month shortly after securing restructuring approval from federal and state regulators. The fees cover Frontier’s general network expenses but are not included in advertised rates when a customer signs up for service. Frontier started charging an “Internet Infrastructure Surcharge” of $1.99 in 2017 and then raised it to $3.99 in 2018.
