AT&T acquires FiberTower for next-generation wireless spectrum

AT&T acquired FiberTower for $207 million. The purchase is valuable because it includes millimeter wave spectrum, which AT&T will use to roll-out its next-generation wireless services. AT&T intends introduce mobile 5G service in a dozen markets by the end of 2018.
