Google Fiber has less than 85,000 pay-TV subscribers
Google Fiber has only 84,232 pay-TV subscribers, according to Craig Moffet, a market analyst at MoffetNathanson. What’s more, Google Fiber growth cooled in Kansas City – the company’s flagship city where it recently cancelled customer accounts. “The story of Google Fiber seems more or less over,” wrote Moffett in his report. “‘And they all lived happily ever after. The End.’ Fade to black.” Whether Google’s fixed wireless broadband will scale up is yet to be seen.
