AT&T withdraws from Lifeline in Ohio

The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) approved an AT&T application to withdraw from the state Lifeline program. Last year, CWA in Ohio joined the NAACP, Ohio Poverty Law Center, Alliance for Retired Americans, and ProgressOhio to call on the PUCO to reject AT&T's request to drop out of the Lifeline program.

AT&T withdrew from the Illinois Lifeline program in 2018, and from 12 other states in 2017.
