Fiber expansion at CenturyLink
A recent blog in POTs and PANs, CenturyLink Bullish on Fiber, described CenturyLink’s progress and plans to deploy fiber networks. Right now, CenturyLink has service in place to residential customers in parts of Omaha and Las Vegas – and to businesses in Salt Lake City.
Moreover:
“The company has announced plans to provide new residential gigabit fiber in new markets including Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City, Denver, Minneapolis / St. Paul, and in Columbia and Jefferson City in Missouri. Additionally the company plans gigabit fiber for businesses in Spokane, Sioux Falls, Colorado Springs, Albuquerque, Phoenix and Tucson.”
