MN regulators investigating service quality, billing complaints against Frontier
The Minnesota Public Utilities Commission (PUC) is investigating Frontier Communications after “receiving a large volume of complaints related to the service quality, customer service, and billing practices of Frontier,” regulatory filings read. Frontier has more than 98,000 landlines across Minnesota, according to the state’s Star Tribune.
The investigation comes after a local Minnesota politician, state representative Rob Ecklund, encouraged his constituents to file their complaints with Frontier to the PUC. "I'd heard a bunch of complaints of poor service all across my district," Ecklund to the Star Tribune. "I am a Frontier customer myself, and the service has been lousy."
