Contract covers more than 8,000 AT&T Mobility workers in five states.
“T-Mobile is so eager to pad its executives’ bank accounts that they couldn’t even wait until the merger has gone through to start firing people,” said Communications Workers of America President Chris Shelton.
As state regulators in several states investigate service quality issues at Frontier, CWA members have been calling on the company to invest in its network and workforce to improve service quality in Ohio and Minnesota.
Despite increased data use, the United States continues to fall behind other nations in terms of broadband speed and access.
